A Good Read

I just finished reading a good book that my Grandma gave me. The Necklace was such a good story, based on a real story, about 13 ladies that buy a $30,000 necklace together. Each chapter talks about each of the ladies lives and how it effected them. It's a great story of how important it is to have woman friends and the impact that it can make. It was definitely a feel good story, that I definitely recommend.

The Time of My Life

I just finished reading this book and it was amazing!! Lately for some reason I have been picking up books that I can totally relate to. Like I'm going through some of the same things and I randomly find a book at Borders that is about it. It's kinda crazy/weird. haha. This book was so good just because the lady starts out with everything she's ever wanted, but still isn't happy. Then randomly she wakes up 7 years earlier, and she has a chance to go back and change things. It's really interesting to see what happens. It was a great book. :)

Open House

I just finished reading this book. I have been reading a lot at work... haha. A lot of down time lately. Anyways such a good book! At first it was really sad and depressing but the other half of the book is awesome!! If you have ever had your heart broken, this book is for you. I don't think I have related to such a book in awhile. It definitely is a great story of triumph and a woman finding the strength to move on with her life. The way the author writes the book is exactly how women think and their insecurities. It deals with the struggles of divorce and raising a son on her own. It's amazing, worth another read for sure.

Rudy and Me

So lately I have been feelin a bit down.. but trying to just stay positive. I think for the first time in a while I am actually a bit bored with my life. I know I should actually be grateful that I finally have some peace. So that's what I need to keep telling myself.

I first started this blog a year ago, and I definitely was in a dark place then. As weird as it sounds I must give Rudy a big chunk of my growing out of that dark place, as well as Aj of course. Lately I have been looking back at my life and it really is sad to say but almost everyone I have known has hurt me or let me down in some way. I guess that's what has gotten me down a lot lately, realizing that. I know no one is perfect, and everyone will let you down once in awhile, but it seems like I have got royally screwed many times. haha.

My family is there for me too, but it has been very difficult with all of the sad events that have happened in the past few years to our family. My own older sister refuses to talk to ANYONE in our family. It has been very hard on me, since we were the closest in age and she was the one I was closest with. I'm trying to stay positive and believe that good things will be coming to our family, but it has been very hard.

Even though I have thought all this I know that my little Rudy will always be there for me and put a smile on my face. I have been reading Marley and Me right now, it is the best book for me right now! If you have an appreciation for dogs I suggest you read it. It truly shows the comfort and love a dog can give to any family. It just reminds me of Rudy and lucky I am to have him. I know there was a reason for me to have him. :)

Gotta Love Target

So I just got two amazing things at Target! 1. The new Jack's Mannequin cd. I really do love the cd. I will have to argue that the first album was better, though. This album is definitely a lot more mellow, but still great :)

2. I also got this book that's actually really funny! I highly suggest any girl read it. The author is very witty. It's pretty much the author talking about her quest to lose weight, which is hilarious. It's so funny, because it is exactly what every girl thinks but never says. Love it!
