Jennie & Ivan's Wedding

Last week we spent the week in San Diego. It was so awesome to take a week off of work and relax. Aj's sister Jennie got married in marina village. It was a beautiful wedding. Spending time with Aj and all his family was so fun. In between hanging with family and wedding festivities I got to meet up with some friends and catch up as well. After the wedding we went camping on the beach. It was pretty sweet to wake up to the ocean every day.
I am truly grateful that I got to grow up in San Diego. You don't realize how much you miss it until you move away! One day we will move back and be avid beach goers. :)

Kate & Tyler's Wedding in Tahoe

This past week we went to my old roommate's wedding in Lake Tahoe. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was there! So amazing. We had so much fun taking the gondola up Heavenly and just walking around the little shops.

Kate's wedding was so wonderful. When we lived together she was just barely dating Tyler so it was so special to see how much they love each other now. I couldn't be more happy for her. The wedding was absolutely perfect. Makes me tear up again just thinking about it. haha.

Jennie's Bachelorette Party

This past weekend I had so much fun. Aj's sister Jennie had her bachelorette party in San Diego and it was awesome. We all rented a condo right on the beach. The place had it's own little yard, jacuzzi, and fire pit. Seriously wish I lived there. Anywho, I flew in a day earlier so I could hang out with my little sis Aubrey. We went to old town and the best mexican food! So many good memories about old town, it's always so nice to visit.
I had so many fun laughs and talks with all the girls in Aj's family. It was so nice to get to know them all better. They are amazing women who really know how to have fun! :)
On Saturday night all 16 of us girls went out in OB in wigs and black dresses. It was awesome to see everyone in their wigs.

Sweet Summmma

Ahhh I am so wanting to be laying in this hammock right now. All I want is to be at the beach and lounging in the sand. Heading to San Diego in a month for the weekend, then staying for a week in August. So hopefully I'll get my beach fix then. :)

Visiting Family

I had such a great time visiting my family in St. Louis. I really wish we all lived closer. I'm so glad I got to spend time with my cousins and see my aunt and uncle. I had such a wonderful time being with my Grandparents also. They are so sweet and loving. They have been together for over 50 years!! I love them and I hope I get to visit them again soon.

And speaking of Missouri, I can't believe what has happened to Joplin! We used to live there for about 7 years! We know of one family that still lives there & luckily everyone is safe. All of their houses and cars have been destroyed. I can't believe it. I feel so helpless and feel guilty going about my daily life, when I know they are in pure hell right now. Please send your prayers to everyone in Joplin.

St. Loooouis

This weekend I am visiting St. Louis to visit my Grandparents and cousins. I love Missouri. I have such great memories of it growing up. We used to have family reunions there all the time & go stay at the lake. So fun. We lived in Joplin, Missouri for awhile too. I can never get over how much I love the architecture there. The houses are all so beautiful. Brick and lovely houses everywhere. I love it.

My grandparents offered to pay for each of the Grand kids to come and visit, which is so sweet of them. Definitely exited to watch movies with my grandpa, (he has a library of movies. All alphabetized and logged on paper haha.), see my sweet cousins, aunt and uncle and laugh with my grandma. :)

Disneyland '11

Our little weekend vacation to Disneyland was so fun. It's always sad leaving California. We never get a chance to see everyone we want to, but still great to see the people that we can! On Saturday we were able to meet up with Aj's family and eat dinner with them. Aj's grandma is so adorable. She loves sharing her many amazing stories that are so interesting. She showed us how she used to dance and made me and Aj dance with her. It was awesome.


On Sunday we got up bright and early & went to Disneyland! We had so much fun. It was still a little crowded, but we didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes for a ride. Splash Mountain was closed which was a bummer but oh well. It was such a beautiful day to go. We need to go there on a yearly basis :)







We met up with my little sister Aubs and ate at the Rain Forest Cafe. I love that place.
